Day 01 / Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet assist at the airport & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 02 / Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Day 03 /Delhi – Jaipur (By train Dep 0610 Hrs Arr 1040 Hrs )
Morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the airconditioned train to Jaipur. Breakfast in the train. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Later sight seeing tour of Jaipur covering:
CITY PALACE – A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Day 04 / Jaipur
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.
AMBER FORT PALACE – Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it’s ultimate expression. Continue sight-seeing.
JAIGARH FORT – The Western skyline is dominated by the extensive parkotas (Walls), watch-towers and gateways of Jaigarh. It is one of the few military structures of medieval India preserved almost intact containing palaces, gardens, open and covered reservoirs, a grannary, an armoury, a well planned cannon foundry, several temples, a tall tower and a giant mounted cannon the Jai Ban the largest in the Country.
LAXMI NARAYAN TEMPLE – Situated in the south of Jaipur, Laxmi Narayan Temple is one of the many such temples built by wealthy Birla family in India, thus it is also known as Birla Mandir. The temple is a great reminder of the secular traditions India has shown over the centuries. The temple has been constructed in white marble and has three domes, each portraying the different approaches to religion. The temple is situated at the foot of Moti Doongri Fort, converted as a small palace by Ram Singh II for his wife Gayatri Devi. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 05 / Jaipur – Agra (by Road)
After breakfast drive to the City of Tajmahal- Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri- a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperorAkbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Agra.
Day 06 / Agra – Delhi (By train Dep 2025 Hrs Arr 2230 Hrs)
Early morning at sunrise visit TAJ MAHAL- the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, built it in 1631 in the memory ofhisGolden Triangle With Pushkar Tour second wife, Mumtaz Mahal, a Muslim Persian princess. She died while accompanying her husband in Behrampur in a campaign to crush a rebellion, after giving birth to their 14th child. Her death so crushed the emperor that all his hair and beard were said to have grown snow white in a few months. When Mumtaz Mahal was still alive, she extracted four promises from the emperor: first, that he build the Taj; second, that he should marry again; third, that he be kind to their children; and fourth, that he visit the tomb on her death anniversary. He kept the first and second promises. Construction began in 1631 and was completed in 22 years. Twenty thousand people were deployed to work on it. An Iranian architect designed it and it is best appreciated when the architecture and its adornments are linked to the passion that inspired it. It is a “symbol of eternal love”.
Also visit Agra Fort-the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Late evening transfer to railway station to board the superfast airconditioned train to Delhi. Dinner in the train. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 07 /Delhi – Corbett (By Road approx 7hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Corbett National Park. It has one of the most wildlife reserves in India. Park covering an area of 1318 sq. kms. It is situated in the Himalayan foothills with open grasslands the Ramganga River flowing through its entire length. It is named after the famous hunter-naturalist Corbett who, between 1907 and 1939 tracked down and killed man-eaters, which had claimed an aggregate of 1300 human lives. It is India’s first and biggest Tiger reserve sponsored by ‘World Wildlife Fund’ supporting 50 mammals, 580 bird and 25 reptile species.
Corbett is haven for tigers. Aptly called the ‘ The Land of Roar and Trumpet’ this forest of flowing rivers, blue waters and Sal – dappled glades, was christened after the famous Colonel Jim Corbett. There is something absolutely magical about being in tiger and elephant country where unexpected sights and sounds present themselves at almost every turn.
The Corbett National Park is an excellent and largely inviolate specimen of the rich Sal and mixed woodland that spans outer Himalayas. The topography of the park is varied and interesting with ravines, plateaus, marshy depressions and grasslands. The sparkling river Ramganga is the life source of the park. Because of its rich biogeographic diversity, the park is a natural heaven for flora and fauna of the plains, the sub mountainous region and high altitude areas and that is why Corbett is home of 110 species of trees, 51 species of shrubs, 27 species of climbers, 37 species of grasses and bamboos, over 50 mammals, 580 Birds and 25 reptile species.
On arrival transfer to the Hotel. Night stay in Corbett.
Day 08 /Corbett
Early morning visit the Sanctuary.(Jeep safari and Elephant safari). Afternoon at leisure to enjoy fishing, hiking and nature walks along side the river. Night stay in Corbett.
Day 09 / Corbett
Early morning visit the Sanctuary.(Jeep safari and Elephant safari). Afternoon visit the famous Garjia temple . Night stay in Corbett.
Day 10 / Corbett – Delhi (By Road approx 7 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Delhi to connect the flight for onward journey.
