Day 01 / Arrival Delhi, Taj mahal golden triangle
On arrival, meet representatives who will assist you to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 02 / Delhi – Agra ( By train Dep 0615 Hrs ; Arr 0815 Hrs )
Early morning proceed to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train. Arrive Agra and head to hotel. Later visit the Agra fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort that stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. This fort comprises of Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience)- the place where the Emperor heard public petitions and then the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience)- the place for the Emperor’s meeting with the foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.At evening, during sunset visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world. Transfer to hotel. Night stay in Agra.
Day 03 / Agra – Jaipur ( By road Approx 5 Hrs)
A second visit to Taj Mahal at sunrise. Later drive to Jaipur-the “pink city” of India that was named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This city is world popular for symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. Drive past the ancient palaces and forts, which were the royal processions and splendours enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone, which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar that was later abandoned due to failure of water supply. Arrive Jaipur. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 04 / Jaipur – Delhi ( By train Dep 1745 Hrs ; Arr 2230 Hrs )
In the morning checkout from hotel and head to the majestic Amber Fort and enjoy an elephant ride to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Then drive past by the City Palace, Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal that is encrusted with delicate screen and sand carved balconies from which the royal ladies could sneak views of the outside world. Later visit Jai Singh’s observatory. Evening board the air conditioned train to Delhi. Dinner in the train. Arrive Delhi, proceed to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 05 / Delhi – Departure (Hotel check out at 1200hrs)
After breakfast head on for sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit the Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, the Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Later travel to airport to board the onward flight.
