Day 01: Arrival Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to a hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi.
New Delhi: India’s capital and an important gateway into the country, New Delhi is a vibrant metropolis and the hub of India’s political activity. Designed and developed by famous English architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869- 1944), New Delhi is known for its wide, tree-lined avenues, parks and palaces. In New Delhi, you will visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the president of India), India Gate – a 42m high stone memorial arch, and the mid-16th century Humayun’s Tomb and more.
Old Delhi: Built by Mughals emperor Shah Jahan, Old Delhi is known for its architectural masterpieces, crowded streets and intensely colorful bazaars. Drive past Chandni Chowk, the main street of Old Delhi and a lively shopping bazaar. Visit the magnificent Red Fort and Jama Masjid (inside visit not included for Jama Masjid), the biggest mosque in India. Later stop to visit the Raj Ghat, the place where father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948. In the afternoon, we drive to Agra (approx. 4 Hrs). Arrive at Agra and check in to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Agra-Delhi
Enjoy an early morning at sunrise visit to world-renowned Taj Mahal, the most beautiful and extravagant monument ever built in the world. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later, visit the magnificent Agra Fort, built by Mughals Emperor Akbar in 1565.
Thereafter, we drive back to Delhi. Arrive and check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh
After breakfast, we drive to Haridwar/Rishikesh (approx. 5 Hrs). In the evening, attend Special Aarti at 7 P.M at Har-ki-pauri (Haridwar). The Ghats look breathtakingly beautiful, as thousands of Diyas (Lantern lamp) and marigold flowers float and illuminate the holy waters of the Ganges. Also visit the Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Ghat Temple & Kankhal Temples. Overnight in Rishikesh hotel.
Day 05: Rishikesh
After breakfast, explore Rishikesh. Rishikesh is an ancient pilgrimage centre of India, nestling in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas on the banks of river Ganges. Millions of Hindus visit the place every year to absolve themselves of their sins by bathing in the Holy Ganges. Later, visit the Muni Ki Reti and Lakshman Jhula.
Day 06: Rishikesh-Delhi- Tour Ends.
After breakfast, we drive back to Delhi (approx 6 Hrs). Arrive at Delhi. Later, on time transfer to the International airport to board a flight for your onward destination or way back home.
