Day 1: Arrive Delhi
After arriving Delhi, meet and greet the representatives and proceed to hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
Morning tour of Delhi sightseeing includes visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana that are the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. After this proceed to Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and the famous Chandni Chowk. Visit Qutub Minar by afternoon follwed by visits to Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple which is a modern Hindu Temple. Then drive past the President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Transfer to hotel and have one night stay.
Day 03 : Delhi – Agra
Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri on the route. Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, is 40 kms from Agra. It was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Take a walk along the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.
Taj Mahal, the most famous Moghul monument built with white marbles was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal and one of the seven wonders of the world, has been described as the most extravagent monument ever built for love. It is also notable for its best inlay of works.Taj Mahal is closed on Friday for foriegn visitors.
Enjoy the sunset at pristine Taj Mahal, to see this true Wonder of the world in gentle late afternoon light. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Agra – Delhi
Morning visit to the world famous Taj Mahal followed by a visit to the Agra Fort that encloses the Pearl Mosque and the Halls for Public and Private Audience. Later visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father followed by an afternoon drive to Delhi. Transfer to international airport to board flight for onward journey.
