The Golden Chariot train, named after Stone Chariot of Vitthala Temple of Hampi, is a Luxury train. The train has world class facilities of Spa, dining, conference, gym and accommodation. The train gives a luxurious voyage through historical heritage sites, beautiful beaches and tranquilizing forests.

Day 1 : Arrival at Banglore (Monday)
Golden Chariot starts from the state capital of Karnataka. The city is known for its contribution to IT sector in India and abroad. Check-in at the Grand Leela Palace at 12.00 noon. A delicious lunch at Jamawar or Citrus is offered later. After some rest, visit to Tipu sultan’s Palace, Bull temple, and Lalbagh is arranged for the tourists.

At 8.00 PM the tourists board onto the train after a warm Indian welcome. Dinner is onboard.

Day 2 : Kabini / Bandipur
Take delicious breakfast on board and then depart for Bandipur Jungle Lodge. The place is a wild life reserve earlier used by Maharaja of Mysore for hunting. The tourists get an unforgettable experience of gazing at tiger, chital, wild boar, elephant groups and a myriad of wildlife creatures greet the tourists.

Post lunch is dedicated to boat safari and a film on wildlife. Overnight stay and dinner is at the Jungle Lodge.

Day 3 : Mysore
The tourists leave for Mysore in the morning. Lunch is onboard. In the day at 3.00 PM the tourists leave for sightseeing of Mysore. Mysore is famous for its majestic Mysore Palace, Srirangapatnam- capital of Tipu Sultan, and Brindavan Garden. The sights conjure the glorious past of the place.

Day 4 : Hassan
In the morning at 6.00 AM, the tourists depart for Hassan. After reaching Hassan, move on to visit the architectural master piece- Shravanabelagola, situated on a high altitude. After having onboard lunch move for sightseeing of Belur and Halebid.

Belur hosts the famous Hoysala temples which were built by Vishnuvardhan as a memory of his victory over Cholas. Halebid is home to Hoysaleswara Temple, one of the main Hoysala Temples.
In evening depart to Hospet at 7.45 PM. Dinner is onboard.

Day 5 : Hospet
After arriving at 6.00 AM in morning, the tourists depart for sightseeing of Hampi after breakfast. Queen’s Bath, Elephants Stable and Virupaksha Temple are the main attractions in the capital of great Vijayanagar Empire. After onboard lunch, move again for sight seeing of Royal enclosure, Hazara Rama Temple, and Illuminated Vittala Temple. Depart for Badami in the morning at around 5.00 AM.

Day 6 : Badami
The train reaches Badami at around 8.45 AM. After breakfast onboard, move for sightseeing of Badami caves and Pattadakal. Eighty one dancing poses of Lord Natraj are something to gaze in Badami. Pattadakal, situated on the bank of river Malaprabha, is a world heritage sight of Chalukya temples where the kings were crowned.

Day 7 : Goa
After having onboard breakfast depart for sightseeing og Goa. Goa has got some of the oldest Churches of Portuguese time. Take lunch at Majorda Beach resort. After an Ayurvedic massage return to the train for return.

Day 8 : Banglore
Reach Bangalore at 11.00 AM and leave after a farewell.
