The Royal Orient Train is one of the most luxurious trains of India. It is an Indian luxury tourism train that runs between two states – Gujarat and Rajasthan. It covers many remarkable tourist destinations in the two states. Modeled on the lines of world popular train – the Palace on Wheels (India’s first luxury tourist train), the Royal Orient is the joint undertaking of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited and the Indian Railways. Started in 1994 it is outfitted with modern amenities, facilities & services. The train provides excellent services and extreme comfort to its passengers. The train offers tourists a taste of royal luxury while ‘showcasing the best of rich culture and heritage of India’.
The Royal Orient Train contains 13 luxury coaches with facilities like five-star hotels. Cabins are well-furnished in an elegant style and have spacious baths attached. The train also has multi-cuisine restaurants offering Rajasthani, India, Gujarati, Chinese and Continental mouthwatering cuisine. There is also a bar onboard the Royal Orient. There is also a lounge in every coach of the train where tourists can read magazines and books, watch televisions and listen to music. Departure from Delhi Cantonment Station at 1500 hrs. Onboard dinner and overnight.
Day 02 : Thursday
Chittorgarh – Udaipur
The train arrives at 0630 hrs at Chittorgarh, the city of bravery and romance. Visit the magnificent Chittorgarh Fort. The train departs from Chittorgarh at 0915 hrs fro Udaipur. The train arrives at 1215 hrs in Udaipur – one of the most romantic cities in India, known for elegant palaces, beautiful lakes and gorgeous gardens. Lunch at a hotel in Udaipur. Boat cruise over Pichola Lake. Visit of magnificent City Palace. Departure from Udaipur at 1830 hrs. Overnight and dinner onboard the train.
Day 03 : Friday
Junagarh – Veraval
Arrival at Junagarh at 1400 hrs. Visit to Ashoka Rock, Darbar Hall Museum & Nawab Mahabat Khanji Mausoleum. Departure from Junagarh at 1600 hrs. Arrival at Veraval at 1800 hrs. Visit the famous Somnath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 : Saturday
Veraval – Sasangir – Dilwara
Departure from Veraval at 0500 hrs. Arrival at Sasangir at 0630 hrs. Visit to the world famous Sasangir National Park & Lion Sanctuary. Departure from Sasangir at 1130 hrs. Arrival at Dilwara at 1430 hrs. Visit the St Pauls Church and the enjoy Mandir Beach. Departure Dilwara – 2005 Hrs. Dinner will be served on board the train. Overnight stay in the luxury comforts of the train.
Day 05 : Sunday
Palitana – Sarkhej – Ahmedabad
Arrival at Palitana at 0740 hrs. Visit the 863 Jain Temples atop Shatrunjaya Hills. Departure from Palitana at 1230 hrs and Arrival at Sarkhej at 1905 hrs. Proceed to Ahmedabad from Sarkhej by luxury bus. Transfer to the hotel on arrival in Ahmedabad. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06 : Monday
Ahmedabad
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing of Ahmedabad covering Gandhi Ashram, Calico Museum of Textiles, and Sidi Aayyad’s Mosque. Departure from Ahmedabad at 1405 hrs. Dinner will be served on board the train. Overnight stay in the luxury comforts of the train.

Jaipur
Arrival at Jaipur at 1115 hrs. Sightseeing of Jaipur – Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar. Departure from Jaipur at 2130 hrs. Dinner will be served on board the train
