Day 1 : Arrival at Mumbai
On arrival at SantaCruz Airport in Mumbai, representative receives you and transfers you to a pre-booked hotel. Relax and brace up yourself for the journey ahead. Dinner & overnight will be at hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai Sightseeing
After a luscious breakfast, proceed for a city tour. We will Cruz to Elephanta Caves nearby at an island. In the day take a visit to Chaupaati Beach, Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging gardens, and Gateway of India. Marine drive is also a famous beach in Mumbai. Board the train for overnight journey to Aurangabad.
Day 3 : Mumbai – Aurangabad
Check-in a hotel pre-booked for the purpose. After breakfast, move for sightseeing of the city. Aurangabad was founded by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Daulatabad fort is worth visit to feel the power of mighty kingdoms. Aurangabad caves make a tantric effect on our mind.
Move to Ajanta Caves, a holy Buddhist sites with magnificent paintings on the walls. There are many other ‘Chaityas’ and ‘Viharas’. After Ajanta, we will proceed to Ellora Caves. Ellora is famous for its caves dedicated to Jain and Buddhist religions. Overnight stay and dinner is at hotel.
Day 5 : Aurangabad – Hyderabad
After a hearty breakfast in the morning, board the train to Hyderabad. Check-in a pre-booked hotel in Hyderabad. Afterwards in the day move on to visit the royal Golconda Fort. The fort is famous for its acoustic effects, magnificent palaces, and Fateh Rahben Gun – used by Aurangzeb. Tomb of Qutubsahi, Banjara Darwaja, Taramati Baradari, Ramuji Film City, Hussain sagar, and Char Minar are other places where we will visit. Overnight stay and dinner is at hotel.
Day 6 : Hyderbad – Chennai
The day is free to relax. Later in the evening, board the train to Chennai. Overnight boarding is on train.
Day 7 : Chennai – Mysore
After arrival in morning, check-in a hotel to refresh. Take a hearty breakfast and move on to explore Chennai. Visit Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram sites nearby. Kanchipuram was ancient capital of Pallavas, famous for its majestic temples. Silk Saree are worth buying in Kanchipuram. Seven Pagodas are famous sights of Mahabalipuram. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 8 : Chennai – Mysore
The day is free to relax. Take a luscious breakfast in morning and board the train for Mysore.
Day 9 : Mysore Sightseeing
We board down the train in the morning. Move on to explore Mysore. Mysore is famous for its majestic Mysore Palace, Srirangapatnam- capital of Tipu Sultan, and Brindavan Garden. Chamundeshwari temple is another sight surrounded by scenic hill sides and lush green environment. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 10 : Mysore – Helbid – Belur
After having a hearty breakfast, move on to visit ancient sites of Belur and Helbid. Belur hosts the famous Chennakesava temples which were built by Vishnuvardhan as a memory of his victory over Cholas. Halebid is home to Hoysaleswara Temple, one of the main Hoysala Temples. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Mysore.
Day 11 : Mysore – Bangalore
After a luscious breakfast drive to Bangalore, the state capital of Karnataka. Bangalore is called Garden City or Silicon city of India. The city gardens are full of beautiful flowers of acaranda, gulmohar and cassia. We move on to visit to Tipu sultan’s Palace, Bull temple, and Lalbagh. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel.
Day12 : Bangalore – Mumbai – Onwards
Take a hearty breakfast in the morning. Afterwards our representative will transfer you at Bangalore airport to catch flight for Mumbai. From Mumbai take flight for your onward journey.
